SEEN — Voices of the Community
Story. Expression. Encounter. New.
The Creative Arts Department at Building Community Bridges is home to SEEN — Voices of the Community, a welcoming space where people of all ages can create, write, tell stories, explore new ideas, and connect with others.
SEEN is built around a simple idea: everyone deserves a place for their voice to be heard. You don't need formal training, perfect grammar, performance experience, or even confidence that you're "creative." Whether you already love creating or you're simply curious about trying something new, there is room for you here.
Create. Explore. Connect.
Through SEEN, participants can explore creative writing, poetry, storytelling, spoken word, music, drawing, movement, games, prompts, conversation, and other forms of creative expression.
Some people come ready to learn and practice. Others simply need room to explore. SEEN makes space for both.
There are no grades, no tests, no judgment, and no forced performances. Participate in a group activity, work on something of your own, share your work, or simply come and listen.
Find Your Voice
SEEN offers creative workshops, community gatherings, open mic opportunities, and other experiences designed to bring people together through creativity and expression.
All ages are welcome.
Come create something.
Come discover something new.
Come share your story.
Building Bridges, Changing Lives!
